Optional meal cooked by Philippa Vine (book in advance) or bring your own food. Bring your own drinks as there is no bar.

🚨 CARS & CAFFEINE: THE TWILIGHT HALLOWEEN FINALE! 🎃💀🕷️
Following our absolute monster of a September show where 115 cars packed out the showground, we are dropping the daylight and changing the game for our final event of the 2026 season!
Join us on Sunday 25th October from 15:00 to 19:00 at The Bull’s Head Showground, Boreham Street (BN27 4SG) for our first ever Halloween Night Fundraiser! 🎬🔊
(Please note that The Bulls head opens at 16:00 but we’ve been given explicit permission to arrive an hour early)
As dusk falls, we are transforming the grass show field into a highly atmospheric, custom-lit automotive event. We’ve got a full DJ lighting setup mounted alongside our PA audio rig and ambient rope lighting to completely alter the vibe on the field. So whether you are bringing down a classic cruiser, a vintage vehicle, a custom build, or rolling in with a supercar convoy, every machine has a dedicated space. 🏎️🏍️⚡
🚒 SUPPORTING THE HEROES:
This special evening event is officially running as a fundraiser to support The Fire Fighters Charity UK. Every penny raised from our collection hubs, donation buckets and bake sale goes straight to backing the incredible frontline crews who protect drivers and riders on our roads every day.
🏆 THE HALLOWEEN AWARDS SHOWCASE:
To max out the spooky vibes, we are officially running two custom competitions on the night! Get creative, go wild, and show us what you’ve got:
• Best Decorated Car: Dress your machine up with cobwebs, skeletons, custom lighting, or a spooky theme. The most atmospheric build on the field takes the crown!
• Best Dressed Visitor: Dust off your best costumes, masks, or full horror gear. The best outfit on the grass wins!
Alongside these competitions, we’re looking to host a TRUNK OR TREAT hour for any children who attend. Drivers are incentivized to bring any wrapped sweets to the field for this and a strict no movement rule is to be in place while this takes place for their safety. 🍬🍫
🍻 REFUEL STATIONS:
Warm cooked meals, hot drinks, pints, and cheesy chips will be running all afternoon and evening inside The Bull’s Head pub to keep you fueled in the autumn chill! 🍟☕

To help our marshal team safely map out our custom runway lighting lanes, manage the field ingress, and maximize parking capacity, please click ‘Going’ or ‘Interested’ on this event page if you plan to display or visit!
Our strict grassroots rules apply on exit: Walking pace on the grass turf and absolutely NO burnouts, launch control, or antisocial behavior on the public roads. Let’s keep it fun, keep it safe, and protect our stunning venue.

FLAMING FAMILY FUNDAY & DOG SHOW

FLAMING FAMILY FUNDAY AND DOG SHOW is this Sunday 28 June from 11am to 4pm at Hailsham Recreation Ground, Western Road organised by Jim Bodman and Hailsham Bonfire Society. This is a FREE Event for all to enjoy and has so many things to see and do. Including a licenced bar, live music, dog show 3 to 3.30pm, fun fair, food and drink stalls, local charity stalls and much more. The Fun Dog Show is at 3pm to 3.30pm and has categories for Waggiest Tail, Best Trick and Dog that Looks Most Like its Owner. Entries cost £2 for one class or all three for £5. All entries should be made from 11am at the Tatty Matts stall. Maximum 20 entries per class. It will be judged by Tatty Matts own Tayah Willis.

CATS PROTECTION SUMMER FAIRE

This will be at Charles Hunt Centre Hailsham BN27 1BG on Sunday 5th July from 12 noon – 3 p.m. .
Please note the Adoption Centre in Marshfoot Lane will be closed to the public.
We will have lots of stalls, including Cakes and Treats, Cat Merchandise Bric-a- Brac, Raffle and Tombola, Refreshments will include meat and veggie burghers.
Entry is 50p. or a donation of cat food.
Sorry no Dogs allowed and please bring CASH only.
