THE COMMUNITY COFFEE STOP next get together is on Monday 30 March from 10am to 12 noon. Go along and join in. Everyone welcome. There is tea, coffee and biscuit for £1 along with cake and cheese scones to buy. Bring friends and make new ones at Herstmonceux Village Hall.

PICK YOUR OWN TULIPS at Flitterbrook Flower Farm, Spring Meadows, West End, Herstmonceux BN27 4NZ and with Easter Egg Hunt on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 April from 10am to 12.30pm. These are very special PYO Tulip Experience Days in the run up to Easter.

Pick your own beautiful seasonal, British tulips, fresh from our flower field ready for Easter Sunday. Then enjoy the views of our flower field with a cup of tea and home-made cake here at Flitterbrook Flower Farm. Our sustainable tulips have zero air miles, zero plastic packaging and zero chemicals, so you can enjoy your Easter flowers with a clear conscience.

Tickets are £40 for 2 people which includes 20 tulip stems from the flower field, tea and cake per person. Additional tea and cake is £5 per person.

HISTORY TALK: WEALDEN IRON INDUSTRY

WEALDEN IRON INDUSTRY will be the subject of a talk at the next meeting of Hailsham Historical & Natural History Society by Jeremy Hodgkinson on 1 April at the Charles Hunt Centre. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30 start. Jeremy will be talking about Wealden Iron Industry from the Iron Age to the 19th Century.

CHARITY FIRE & LEGO WALK

A FIRE AND LEGO WALK for Charity is happening this Saturday 28 March on the Cattle Market site, Market Street, Hailsham BN27 2AG. This is a major fundraising event for Hailsham Lions and other local good causes and runs in association with UK Firewalk who are hosting this exciting event.

The Lions are a well-established and much-loved charity, while UK Firewalk is a trusted leader in this extraordinary adventure, having twenty years of experience and over one thousand successful events.

Several members of the Hailsham Club, including the president, have already registered to take part. Hailsham FM will provide the music, the market cafe will be serving hot food, and a variety of stalls will welcome visitors. What’s not to love. Go along from 4pm for a great evening, an atmosphere lit up with burning embers and support these brave participants. Dust off those winter blues and raise money while having fun.

EASTER ADVENTURE DAY

This promises to be a fun filled day starting at 11.30am to 4.30pm with games for all ages, creative easter crafts, a special visit from the Easter Bunny and exciting prizes to be won.
