A fun, relaxed messy play session for children aged 6 months to 5 years and it is coming to the James West Community Centre, Brunel Drive, Hailsham from 12 March between 10.15 and 11.15am. The sessions are filled with colours, textures and sensory activi-ties designed to encourage creativity, confidence and learning through play. Mess is encouraged, stress free for parents. From 2pm for lights switch-on at 6pm in Vicarage Field in the Town Centre. Santa will be arriving at about 4.30pm. There will be lots going on from 2pm with many stalls and entertainment. Hailsham Choral will be singing carols from 2.30pm and Hailsham FM will be broadcasting live. There will be market stalls with festive gifts, candy floss and mulled wine, raffles and tombolas and the church will be open for hot drinks and marshmallows after the switch-on. Please note, the High Street will be closed from approximately 4pm.
