LAURA’S FUNDRAISING DANCETHON

LAURA’S 24 HOUR DANCEATHON is a fundraiser in support of Wayfinder Woman charity taking place over from midday on the 15 and 16 May.

This is a fundraiser in lieu of Laura’s 70th birthday. She has been in training for several months and is being joined by various local dance studio teachers and individuals who will be keeping her company for around an hour at a time throughout the 24 hours. She will be trying many different dance styles from Rave to Line Dancing, Salsa to ballet, 70s disco to Tango and Jive to traditional Indian dancing and lots more.

She would love it if anyone would like to join her over the 24 hours for a small donation to keep her going and for the fun then just book on the website, so she knows you are coming. You could even learn a few steps if you wish by joining in. Every step, every song and every hour danced represents a woman who needs support and she needs your help. Dance with her, donate and share this event. ‘SQUIRRELS’ GARDEN OPEN FOR CHARITY

In aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice. Entrance is by donation at The Street, Arlington, BN26 6RX. This is a medium-size garden with far reaching views to the Downs and the Long Man of Wilmington, with two cherry trees and a variety of Camellias and Azaleas. Along with many spring bulbs there is an herbaceous border and large fishpond. There will be refreshments. No dogs please, except assistance dogs. Parking Available at the local Arlington Village Hall which will be signposted.
