DESCRIPTION:ARMED FORCES DAY is being marked by a special civic service at Hailsham War Memorial this Sunday 28 June at 10.45am. Residents, veterans and members of the Royal British Legion along with representatives from Hailsham Town Council are all invited to come along and give thanks to the men and women who serve or have served in the British Armed Forces. The service will include prayers, wreath-laying and a period of reflection paying tribute to serving personnel, veterans, service families and cadets and recognising the important contribution the make in protecting and support the Nation.\n
